There are two misconceptions made by the author of this movie about the object described in the video as Moebius Strip.
First of all, the image doesn't depict a Moebius Strip AT ALL ;]
Second of all, there's no optical illusion involved with neither the object depicted nor the Moebius Strip.
Sometimes people just try too hard ;)
